About the Role:

We are currently recruiting a General Operative to join our busy agricultural manufacturing team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a practical environment and want to be part of a company supporting the agricultural industry.

As a General Operative, you will be involved in the production and handling of agricultural products, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Flexibility is important, as tasks may vary depending on production demands.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work across different areas of the plant including production, packing, and dispatch
  2. Support the efficient manufacturing of agricultural products
  3. Meet daily production targets and quality standards
  4. Operate equipment and machinery as required (training provided)
  5. Follow instructions from Managers and Team Leaders
  6. Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with Lean and 6S practices
  7. Adhere to all health & safety procedures, including the use of PPE
  8. Report any accidents, incidents, or near misses promptly
  9. Follow all quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  1. A strong work ethic and willingness to work in a hands-on, physically active role
  2. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  3. Ability to work well as part of a team
  4. Good communication skills
  5. Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs
  6. Previous experience in manufacturing, farming, or an agricultural environment is an advantage, but not essential
