Dr. Reed Dillard is a technical account manager at Alltech. A southern Georgia native with a background in the poultry industry, Dr. Dillard earned his academic degrees from the University of Georgia: a bachelor’s degree in avian biology in 2020, and a Ph.D. in poultry nutrition, under Dr. Adam Davis, in 2023. During his Ph.D. studies, he worked with standard and alternative ingredients, developing near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy curves to predict their true metabolizable energy.

Dr. Dillard’s research interests include feed ingredient quality, metabolizable energy equations, and near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy.
